Dear Mr Daniels 

   

I might not show it but I am so happy to have you as my teacher this year. I know that it is weird that I am writing to you when we see each other everyday at school, but it is easier to write than say. I know we have just met but I feel like I can trust you and can tell you and to know more about me. The reason I don’t like to do my school work is because it is really hard for me to read so the way I talk about things is not from the writing it is from the pictures that go with the writing. That's why I got Mrs Sliver that card last year because the bright yellow flowers on the card looked nice but i just could not read the words. I hope you can help me and not think I am dumb or stupid.

We are read a book called fish in a tree we have to pretend that we were one on the charters in the book writing s letter to anther charter in the book. I am Ally and I and writing to her teacher Mr Daniels. Here is my letter.

Titanic

This week we have been forcing on all about the titanic, here is a slide all about a girl that was only 8 weeks old when she went onto it and was one of the survivors.

Haiku Poem

This week for English we have been doing poems. Today I have made a haiku poem. First we got to choose a topic, I choose winter.  Then we had to do the first sentence as 5 syllables. The second one needs 7 syllables and the 3rd one needs 5  syllables again.

What you will need to survive a night in the forest

For Chapter chat this week we had to research what we would need to survive in the forest for a night. Here is what i think that i would need.I found this activity fun because i have never been camping before so when i do i will know what to bring.

Kiwi Kids News

Today Me,Neve,Nia and Aimee picked a category of kiwi kids news and done all the 6 things it has on it my group picked Wellington gets a new sculpture.This task was fun because my group work well together and i think that the category that we picked was inserting.
