The one and only Ivan
Walt: To make predictions to help us understand what we read.
This week we have been reading The One and Only Ivan book. We had to make a poem predicting what we thought the story was going to be about. All we had was the chapter headings to make the poem from. I really liked this activity because we got to work in groups. My favourite bit about my work is the poem.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on achieving a very high standard blog post. It certainly helps having the learning intention there so I can see what it was that you were aiming to do. After reading the Chapter headings, I think that your group might be right with your predictions? I would love to know what the actual book was about and how close your predictions were.
